Oh. Emm. Geeeeeee. How have I not discovered this before! I got the Spicy Basil burger with a side of tots with the house sauce. SO DELICIOUS! Perfect sizing. If you are veggie or vegan you have to check this place out! Ps. The side sauce selection is above par!

Super tasty! We ordered from DoorDash, the food came quickly and really hit the spot. I ordered the Sooo Veggie sausage sandwich and it was delicious. The avocado and arugula really compliment the Italian sausage.. super yummy. My boyfriend (who is not vegan) got the Gooey Lewis burger and he also really liked it. The sandwich and burger looked a bit small at first, but are actually perfect portion sizes as long as you order a side. We split an order of tater tots and I feel satisfied but not overly stuffed, or having to save leftovers like I usually do. We're definitely going to order again soon.

Plant B is a cloud/shared kitchen at the Oakland Food Hall, and is part of "The Absolute Brands." The menu includes burgers and hotdogs using plant-based proteins, fries and onion rings, and drinks. Using the Seamless App, I ordered the Impossible Burger and an order of Tater Tots. Plant B's Impossible Burger is actually pretty good, Grade (4/5). It has a nice balance of flavors and spice. I'm guessing veggie burgers have come a long way since I first tried them 15 yrs ago. Most important, the Impossible Burger doesn't try to be something it's not, it doesn't try to pretend it's red meat. It just tastes good. However, it's a small hamburger. The patty is probably close to a "10:1" patty....aka "10 to 1." That means it takes 10 precooked meat patties to equal 1-lb. Example: a Big Mac uses 10:1 patties. Tater Tots, Grade (4/5). Travels well for delivery. Generous serving. Crispy and soft inside. So, a good meal from a cloud kitchen inside the Oakland Food Hall. Cloud Kitchens have no dining room, and are for delivery or pickup only. Order thru apps or website. Would I order again? Yes, maybe try something else. It's cool to try new concepts in foods.
